EA showed off 15 incredible minutes of gameplay from ReSpawn Entertainment’s upcoming November release of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.
While the game looks beyond fantastic, there are a few caveats to overcome. The biggest being… well… It’s still EA at the end of the day, and microtransactions are always a concern.

Do you plan on pre ordering Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order?

  • The awkward moments EA presented had me cracking up! ''Come on guys, its Star Wars, let's get some applause goin'''. Hahaha. That is so funny, man. I actually enjoyed the Star Wars Battlefront reboot for the PS4. It really immersed you into the Star Wars universe like none other before it. However, Battlefront 2 for the PS4 was very disappointing. It seems like they completely focused more on micro transactions and pretty graphics. The level design and fun factor really took a nose dive in Battlefront 2. I'm not preordering this game because instead I'll be preordering my movie tickets for Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker.

  • The other problem is that EA is doing the same thing they did with Titanfall 2. It is releasing at the same time as another big game. Fallen Order is releasing the say day as Pokémon on November 15th. Now I know that the audience is different for those games, but my money is already going to Pokémon, and will wait and see about Fallen Order.

  • According to respawn this game will be single player with no lootboxes or microtransactions. As of right now I plan on getting the game day 1 but that could change especially if ea comes out later touting microtransactions.

  • I didn't bother with EA's conference (though your description of it has me curious). And I haven't seen/heard anything of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (I'm convinced companies cannot develop games these days without throwing a colon and subtitle onto the end of it), though the graphical styling is nice. More interested in seeing what the rest of E3 week brings, and of course, your subsequent coverage of it. ^^

EDIT: I just watched the official trailer reveal at EA's Star Wars channel. The comment section is both hilarious and savage.
